Sonia Choksi

I was born and raised as a Washingtonian and a forever diehard Washington Redskins fan!! My family lives in Olney, Maryland, New Jersey, and as far away as to India. I graduated from Magruder High School and attended Montgomery College. After college, I started a career in the legal field as a legal assistant/paralegal for almost 13 years. Though I was very successful in that field, I wanted a change. I decided to venture out and found an exciting opportunity in the mortgage industry with the Zamoiski brothers.

In 2001, I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Zamoiski through a mutual friend and later discovered he had a twin brother, Jason Zamoiski. We quickly developed a steadfast friendship. This friendship expanded to a professional career and I was hired in 2011 as Joe and Jason’s “Team Z” assistant and marketing director. When they decided to change direction and go to a new company, they requested I join them as their Loan Officer Assistant. Due to the growth and expanding business, my job changed to Loan Processor for Team Z.

Work keeps me extremely busy but when I have free time, I take the opportunity to volunteer with various pet organizations by participating in adoption events and using social networking to raise awareness. I have three adorable animals that are my world and hope to help other animals find their forever home. I am also active in multiple charities that are extremely close to my heart, such as National MS Society, Arthritis Foundation (RA), and St. Jude.
